Cake Crush Mo.png — My Story

I got the baking bug at an early age, I think it all started with Mums homemade Birthday cakes. I can still taste them now, layers of fluffy buttery sponge sandwiched with homemade raspberry jam, a sprinkling of sugar on top for a teatime treat or a dollop of royal icing for a special occasion. No frills, no fuss, just perfect. The cakes I make today are indeed a lot fussier than Mums, but I love that, the creativity and the baking.

I want my cakes to be a celebration of design and taste but underneath it all the sentiment remains unchanged, the coming together of families and friends to celebrate, make new memories, share love, laughter and above all cake. That's the magic right there and it always feels special to be part of that.
